Bigfoot biking

Hi bloggers today I'll be telling you about Bigfoot biking. For the last 2 days we have been doing Bigfoot biking. Bigfoot biking is a training company that teaches kids to do cool outdoor things like biking , Water rafting and hiking all those cool outdoor things. We all had a really fun time. The other two classes did the whole lesson in one day or the whole lesson in the other day we did our lesson  half of it was in one day and the other half was  in the other day. The first day we did the theory. The first lesson is about how to put helmets on and if they're safe and all the things about bikes and if they are safe. In the second lesson we actually road bikes we played fun games one of the games are called red light and green light, green light was when you had to go and all go in a circle without overtaking and when they said to stop we had to stop without skidding if you skidded you are out. The other game was a game where we had to go to the line and get our wheel on the line exactly without skidding and also we had to get it on the line with our back wheel. This lesson turned out to be very fun and everybody had fun.

Athletics

Hi bloggers today I'll be telling you about Athletics. We had it on Tuesday the 19th. We all went to school in our house colours, there are four different houses. Pukeko is green, Tui is yellow, kea is red and Ruru is blue. We had a whole lot of rotations. We had Tennis, 400m run, 200m run, Team building, Shot put and Long jump, ext . At the end we also had a very big game of house relays we had four different houses and we all had a big house relay race. We had five people from each year group from each house at the end Pukeko won overall in the relays. At the end of the day everyone was tired and exhausted we all sat down for a rest.

Creative Tumble.

Hi bloggers today I will be telling you about our Creative Tumble we have been doing a thing called learn create share LCS. We all love it because there's a whole lot of cool things like marshmallow maths when you get marshmallows and you count them up and you make cool structures with toothpicks and marshmallows and at the end you get to eat them with your buddy. We also did butter making all we did it was Put cream in a glass jar and shaked it up a lot and then it turned into butter and we got to eat it in a bun. We also had paper planes and then we throw them and we measured how far they went with a metre long ruler. We also did clay characters and it was quite fun because there are some really cool creations. And my favourite one was clay characters I like clay characters because we got to do whatever we want and create characters and we did stop motion and mine was funny because it was a walking hot dog.

Footsil

Hi blogger today I will be talking about Futsal. We have been doing Futsal for the last couple of weeks it is quite fun and very hard we came into the hall not know anything about Futsal until the teacher told us. It is very fun very hard like I said we have been doing it for a while but we still don't have the hang of it. It is very hard but the teacher told us that we need to start off by bouncing the ball on our knees and on the face up part of our feet. It starts to actually started to be quite medium like easier. We played some games like we kick the ball across the hall into the goal. This wasn't a game called kick the ball it was called the number game we all got numbered because we got into teams. Then we got numbered into each team. Each team had 11 people the man would call a number the number that he called would have to go out into the open and try get the ball into their goal and not into our goal.

KidsBot

Hi blogger, today I'll be telling you about KidsBot. The teacher said something about this coding program but it wasn't a program at all. What we did is we just made a Google drawing and we made a coded maze. So you basically put trees down and you can put different things on the map too. We had to get something to another place and what you did was made heaps of coded defence. Some things you touch, might make you restart. You have to get through there in two different ways by getting back to your house like you can go to Earth then to Mars and then go back to Earth and find another way back to Mars.
