special Assembly

Hi bloggers yesterday we did a special assembly to remember the people who were hurt on Friday. We all felt sad for the people who were hurt. We all make special cards to send out to the hospital and the people who helped. All the cards we made we put around a special kowhai tree that the whole school stood around for respect. People from different countries got to put a shovel full of dirt around the tree to show some respect to the people who were kiled and hurt. The Christchurch schools were all in lockdown for 4 hours. I would imagine that would be pretty scary. The last couple of weeks we have been trying to fit as much lockdown practices as we can in case this happens again and might happen to us. That's why we need to practice a lot. Not that long ago on Friday the 22nd we had a community fun day we all had a lot of fun. We also listened to the Call to Prayer and did the 2 minutes silence. We all felt very sad as we remembered but we felt better after we had done it. https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/christchurch-shooting-victims-fund/donations
