Summer Learning Journey activity 3, week 1

Hi bloggers today I will be telling you about a Summer Learning Journey. This week our third challenge was to pick a charity and explain what it is. There was heaps of different choices we were given a list that we could pick one from or we could pick your own. I picked SPCA mostly because I like cats and rats. What the SPCA do is they helps abandoned sick and injured and abused animals that are hurt and they take care of them they heal them and then they give it to a rightful owner that is kind and likes pets. Also how you can help volunteer is by making little cat toys for little small cats that can play with them so they're not lonely because some cats don't always have brothers and sisters to play with.

Kei te pai on making it to your first bonus activity of week one! I like that you have chosen the SPCA charity for this activity and that you have acknowledged their work with animals. This has proven to be a very popular charity with a lot of the students within the Ako Hiko cluster.

I really enjoyed reading your blog post about the SPCA especially because you spoke about why you chose to research this charity and also through your post it shows how interested you actually are in the charity. Do you have any pets yourself?

Did you know that the SPCA offer free online resources to educate people about the SPCA and animals. I will post the link to their website where you can out more, It is such an awesome resource bank:
